BJJ black belt offered 12 gi patch zones to fund a trip to Lisbon
A Stockholm based black belt put 12 patch zones on his competition gi up for sale to cover travel and entry for the IBJJF European Championship in January 2027. Zones were priced between 150 and 600 euros, with the back centre as the largest, and the full board was worth 3,130 euros. The countdown ran out in September, and on 28 October the site still showed every zone open and nothing raised.

Lessons
- A sponsor saying yes in a public reply is only a lead; it needs a direct follow up and a checkout link.
- Federation rules on patch placement should be checked before zones are priced and sold.
- Deleting the launch posts removes the main way new buyers would find the offer.
