Your desk setup is the backdrop of every stream, setup tour and work from home post. A brand can own the mat, the shelf behind you or the mug in frame. Pin the spots, get your price, and let brands come to you.

How to monetize your desk setup

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your desk setup, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a desk setup auction.

Get paid to put ads on your desk setup

Post a dated wide photo of the full desk with each spot labelled, plus links to streams or videos where the setup appears.

Tips

  • Pick spots that sit inside your actual camera frame. A shelf out of shot is worth nothing to a sponsor.
  • Keep one or two clean spots. A desk covered in logos looks like an ad and people scroll past.
  • Any setup tour that features a paid product needs #ad or a paid partnership tag on the platform.

Questions

Do I have to keep the item after the deal ends?

That is between you and the sponsor. Agree up front if a product goes back, stays with you, or gets swapped for the next winner.

Can a sponsor ask me to review the product?

They can buy a placement. Honest opinions are yours. Never promise a positive review in exchange for the spot.

What if my setup changes?

Keep sponsored spots in place until bidding closes and proof is posted. Then rearrange freely.

How do brands find my desk setup?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
