How to monetize your monitor
- List it. Upload a photo of your monitor, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a monitor auction.
Get paid to put ads on your monitor
Post a dated photo of the monitor from the front and back, plus a screenshot or clip from a stream where the overlay or wallpaper shows.
Tips
- Keep bezel stickers off the panel itself. Adhesive on the screen edge can lift the coating.
- If you film over the shoulder, the monitor back is often more visible than the bezel. Price it that way.
- Do not put a sponsor logo on a screen you share at work. Employer and client confidentiality rules come first.
Questions
Is a logo on my stream overlay the same as the monitor?
It is a separate spot. The overlay is digital and seen by viewers, the bezel sticker is physical and seen in camera shots.
Can I use this on an office monitor?
Not without permission. Company equipment usually has rules against stickers and personal ads.
Will a sticker hurt resale?
Removable vinyl on the back or stand comes off cleanly. Avoid the bezel on glossy monitors that mark easily.
How do brands find my monitor?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
