How to monetize your music video
- List it. Upload a photo of your music video, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a music video auction.

Tips
- Mark the video as including paid promotion on platforms that require it.
- Keep the label in the loop. If you are signed, your contract may limit brand deals.
- Sell wardrobe and location before the shoot, not after.
Questions
Will a brand control my video?
No. You list what they get. Approve a shot list together if they ask, but keep creative control.
What if the platform takes the video down?
Agree on this first. Proof should show the video was live for the time you promised.
Can I sell spots on a lyric video?
Yes, usually just the end card and description.
How do brands find my music video?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
