Advertise on my 5K.
A 5K is short, but you train for it, film it and post it. If you run local races often, your shirt and your posts can carry a logo. Pin the spots, get your prices, and let local businesses and small running brands come to you.

How to monetize your 5K
- List it. Upload a photo of your 5K, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a 5K auction.
Get paid to put ads on your 5K
Post a race photo showing the shirt and headband, and links to the recap and training posts.
Tips
- Pick races with photographers on the course. Free race photos are the easiest proof.
- Sell a season, not one race. A spot that covers your next four 5Ks is easier to price.
- Free community runs like parkrun are not commercial events. Keep logos small and do not hand out promo material there.
Questions
Will anyone sponsor a 5K runner?
Small local businesses often like it, especially if you post about your training. Do not expect big brands.
Can I sell spots on my race bib?
No. Bibs belong to the race. Put logos on your own clothes.
How long should bidding run?
Close it at least a week before race day so you can get the shirt printed.
How do brands find my 5K?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
