Passengers in your rideshare car sit with nothing to look at but the seat in front and their phone. That makes the cabin a real spot. Pin seat backs, a tablet or a card pocket, and let local brands come to you, within your platform's rules.

How to monetize your rideshare car

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your rideshare car, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a rideshare car auction.

Get paid to put ads on your rideshare car

Post dated photos of each spot inside the car and a short clip of the cabin set up, with no passengers in shot.

Tips

  • Read your platform's driver rules first. Uber, Lyft and others have policies on in car advertising and outside signage, and they change.
  • Never film or photograph passengers for proof.
  • Airport and hotel routes suit tourism sponsors. Nightlife routes suit food spots, but never alcohol brands.

Questions

Will Uber or Lyft let me run ads?

Their rules decide this, not us. Some limits apply to exterior signage and to anything that could confuse riders. Check your current driver terms.

Is a headrest tablet worth it?

Only if your platform and city allow it. A printed card is cheaper and simpler to start.

Can I hand out sponsor samples?

Sealed, non alcoholic items are common. Never give anything a rider did not ask for if your platform forbids it.

How do brands find my rideshare car?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
