Advertise on my t-shirt.

A t-shirt is the easiest ad space you own. Pin the chest, back and sleeves, get your price per spot, and let brands come to you. Print the winners on a shirt you actually wear to class, the gym, events or on camera.

How to monetize your t-shirt

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your t-shirt, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a t-shirt auction.

Post a dated photo of the printed shirt front and back, then photos of you wearing it at the places you listed.

Tips

  • Use iron on transfers or a local print shop so you can make one shirt without a minimum order.
  • List where you will wear it: a tech conference, a campus, a weekly run club. That is what a sponsor pays for.
  • Check dress codes at work or school, and some conferences limit unofficial branding on the floor.

Questions

Who pays for printing?

You do, out of what you earn. Agree the logo files before bidding closes so you can print fast.

How many days do I need to wear it?

Set it on the listing. A single event or a set number of days works best.

Can I sell spots on a shirt I wear on camera?

Yes. Say which videos or streams, and add #ad to the posts.

How do brands find my t-shirt?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
