Advertise on my taxi.

Your taxi spends the day on the busiest streets in town, outside hotels, stations and airports. If you own the cab or have the operator's permission, pin the spots you control, get your prices, and let local brands come to you.

How to monetize your taxi

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your taxi, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a taxi auction.

Get paid to put ads on your taxi

Post dated photos of each spot in and on the cab, plus a short clip of the rank or pickup area you work from, with no passengers shown.

Tips

  • Taxi advertising is often regulated by the city licensing authority, and roof signs are usually controlled by the operator. Check both first.
  • Never cover your licence number, plate, meter or any required signage.
  • Airport and hotel ranks make tourism sponsors a natural fit.

Questions

Can I put ads on my taxi roof light?

Usually not on your own. Roof tops are often sold by the operator or a licensed ad company. Ask them.

Do I need city approval?

In many cities, yes for exterior ads. Interior cards are often simpler but still check.

What if I drive for a fleet?

You need the fleet's permission for anything on the car. Interior cards may be the only option.

How do brands find my taxi?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
