Advertise on my band.

Your band has a kick drum head, a merch table, a van and a set every week. Those are all spots a brand could own. Pin them on a photo of your stage setup, get your prices, and let music shops and local brands come to you.

How to monetize your band

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your band, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a band auction.

Get paid to put ads on your band

Post photos from each gig showing the kick drum and banners, and a clip of the mid set mention.

Tips

  • Ask venues if they allow sponsor banners. Some have their own deals.
  • Sell a run of gigs, not one night. List the dates in the spot note.
  • Pick brands you would play anyway. Fans can tell when a mention is forced.

Questions

Will a sponsor hurt our credibility?

Not if it fits. A local guitar shop or studio feels natural. You choose which spots to sell.

What if a gig is cancelled?

List how many gigs are included. Proof only needs to cover what you promised.

Can we sell spots in our music videos?

Yes, but treat that as a separate listing with its own proof.

How do brands find my band?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
