- A coffee stop sponsor works well for group rides because the whole group stops there.
- On carbon frames use thin vinyl and never use solvents to remove it.
Questions
Can I put sponsor logos on my race kit?
Amateur riders usually can, but some events and federations have rules. Check before race day.
Do I need a big following?
No. Local shops often care more about the group rides you lead than your follower count.
Does a social post need a disclosure?
Yes. If you tag a paying sponsor in a post, mark it as an ad, such as with #ad.
How do brands find my bike?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
