How to monetize your Notion template

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your Notion template, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a Notion template auction.

Get paid to put ads on your Notion template

Post a dated screenshot of the template page and the public template link. New duplicates include the sponsor block from that date.

Tips

  • Copies people already made will not update. Tell sponsors the spot reaches new duplicates from the start date.
  • The listing page is the easiest spot to prove and change, so price it with that in mind.
  • Follow the rules of any marketplace where you list the template.

Questions

Will old copies show the sponsor?

No. Only new duplicates and the public page show it. Be clear about that up front.

Can I sell spots on a paid template?

You can, but buyers may not like ads in something they paid for. Free templates suit this better.

How do I prove it ran?

A dated screenshot plus the public link is enough.

How do brands find my Notion template?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
