- Kayak anglers can sell a spot to a tackle shop and show the catch in proof.
Questions
Will a decal stay on a plastic kayak?
Polyethylene hulls are hard to stick to. Use a decal made for that plastic or a strap on panel.
Can I sell spots on a rental kayak?
No, only on a kayak you own.
What if I paddle in a race?
Check the event rules for logo limits and number placement before you sell.
How do brands find my kayak?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
