Sneaker shots are their own genre: on feet, on the court, on the shelf. Pin spots on your laces, tongue and heel, get your price, and let brands come to you. Use lace tags, decals and custom paint that you can remove.

How to monetize your sneakers

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your sneakers, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a sneakers auction.

Get paid to put ads on your sneakers

Post dated photos of the shoes from each side, plus the on feet clips or posts where the logos show.

Tips

  • Lace tags and custom laces are the cheapest spots to make and the easiest to swap. Start there.
  • Never paint over another brand's logo and pass it off as theirs. Add your sponsor alongside it.
  • Courts and leagues may have shoe rules, so check before you wear custom pairs in a game.

Questions

Can I add logos to a big brand shoe?

Yes, as a customization you own. Just do not suggest the shoe brand endorses your sponsor.

Will decals survive running?

Vinyl decals usually peel on flex points. Put them on the heel or side panel, not the toe box.

Do sneaker posts need #ad?

Yes. Any paid placement in a post needs a clear disclosure.

How do brands find my sneakers?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
