A hoodie gets worn for months, in lecture halls, on flights and on stream. Pin the chest, hood, back and sleeves, get your price per spot, and let brands come to you. Print the winners and wear it for the time you agreed.

How to monetize your hoodie

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your hoodie, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a hoodie auction.

Get paid to put ads on your hoodie

Post dated photos of the printed hoodie, then weekly photos or clips of you wearing it at the places you listed.

Tips

  • Hoodies last a season, so set a longer deal, like four weeks, and give proof once a week.
  • Hackathons and tech meetups are a good fit for developer tool logos. Say which ones you will attend.
  • Embroidery looks better but costs more. Price the spots so a takeover still covers a new print.

Questions

What happens if a brand takes over mid deal?

Bidding closes before you print, so the winner at close is the logo you wear. Takeovers only happen while bidding is open.

Can I wear it on stream only?

Yes. List it as on camera and say how many hours a week you stream.

Will I keep the hoodie?

Yes, it is yours. Agree on when you can stop wearing it for the sponsor.

How do brands find my hoodie?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
