How to monetize your snowboard
- List it. Upload a photo of your snowboard, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a snowboard auction.
Get paid to put ads on your snowboard
Post dated photos of each spot on the hill, with links to clips or your season edit where the logo shows.
Tips
- Bottom graphics wear off on rails. Keep sponsor stickers on the top sheet.
- If you teach at a resort, check its rules before wearing other brands while working.
- Set the bidding window before the season starts so sponsors can plan.
Questions
Can I sell spots if I only ride a few weekends?
Yes. Say how many days you expect to ride and price lower for a short season.
Will a sticker affect the board?
A small sticker on the top sheet is fine. Avoid the base and edges.
Do resort rules matter?
Usually only if you work there or join a resort event. Check the rules if so.
How do brands find my snowboard?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
