How to monetize your university club

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your university club, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a university club auction.

Tips

  • Read your students' union or university sponsor policy. Many need approval and ban some categories.
  • Payment usually needs to go to the club account. Check how your union handles outside income.
  • Hand over the sponsor list when the committee changes so the next team can deliver.

Questions

Do we need union approval?

Often yes. Many students' unions must approve sponsors. Ask before listing.

Can we sell our member list?

No. Sponsors reach members through your posts and events, not their data.

What kind of sponsor fits a small club?

Local businesses near campus and employers hiring graduates in your field.

How do brands find my university club?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
