Advertise on my X account.

On X, attention sits in a few places: your pinned post, your bio, a thread people bookmark, a reply under your best post. Pin those spots on a screenshot of your profile, get your prices, and list it. Brands find it and ask for a spot.

How to monetize your X account

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your X account, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a X account auction.

Tips

  • Put #ad or 'paid' in the post itself. X's paid partnerships policy expects it, and the FTC wants disclosure people see without clicking.
  • Sell to the people who follow you for your topic. A dev tool on a dev account makes sense, a random brand looks like a hacked account.
  • Keep sponsored posts in your own voice. A pasted press release gets ignored and makes the next bid lower.

Questions

How is this different from X's creator revenue sharing?

X shares ad revenue with eligible Premium accounts. A sponsor pays you directly for a spot you choose, and you do not need to qualify.

Can I sponsor a post that already went viral?

Yes, through a reply with their link. Say in the listing which post it is so bidders can look.

Will sponsored posts hurt my account?

Disclosed sponsored posts are allowed. Undisclosed ones and banned product types are what get accounts in trouble.

How do brands find my X account?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
