  • Ask your roommate before anything goes on shared walls.
  • Keep your name and room number out of public proof photos.

Questions

Is this allowed in campus housing?

It depends on your school. Many ban commercial postings. Check with your housing office.

What about my roommate?

Only list your side of the room unless your roommate agrees.

Will students care?

Pick sponsors students use: food, tutoring, repairs.

How do brands find my dorm room?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
