A book lasts. Readers keep it, lend it and quote it for years. If you self publish, the acknowledgments, the launch event and the bookmark are spots you control. Pin them, get your prices, and let brands that fit your readers come to you.

How to monetize your book
- List it. Upload a photo of your book, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a book auction.
Get paid to put ads on your book
Share photos of the printed page and bookmarks, launch event photos, and links to the trailer and newsletter.
Tips
- If you have a publisher, ask first. Traditional contracts usually do not allow sponsor content in the book.
- Pick sponsors that match the book. A running guide fits a running brand.
- Keep sponsors out of the text itself. A mention in the main text can feel like an ad and hurt reviews.
Questions
Can I add a sponsor page to a self published book?
Usually yes. Check your printing and store terms for rules on ads inside books.
How long does the sponsor stay in the book?
Say it in the listing, for example the first print run or first edition only.
What counts as proof?
Photos of the printed page or the ebook page, plus the launch and newsletter links.
How do brands find my book?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
