A charity walk puts a group of people in matching shirts on a public route. Pin spots on the team shirt, the start banner and your fundraising page, get your prices, and let local businesses ask to support your team. Follow the charity's rules.

How to monetize your charity walk
- List it. Upload a photo of your charity walk, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a charity walk auction.
Get paid to put ads on your charity walk
Share a team photo on the day in the shirts, a photo of the banner on the route, and the team page link.
Tips
- Ask the charity whether team sponsors are allowed. Some walks have official sponsors and ban others on shirts.
- Say clearly whether sponsor money goes to the cause or to shirts and costs.
- Water stops are the organizer's to sell, not a team's.
Questions
Does the sponsor money count toward our fundraising total?
Only if you donate it. Tell sponsors exactly where it goes.
Can we put logos on the charity's official shirt?
Usually not. Use your own team shirts if the charity allows.
Is the walk itself an ad?
No. Keep logos modest. The cause comes first.
How do brands find my charity walk?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
