How to monetize your cheer team

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your cheer team, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a cheer team auction.

Get paid to put ads on your cheer team

Share competition and practice photos showing the gear, and links to the routine videos with the end card.

Tips

  • Competition uniforms often have strict rules. Put logos on warm ups and practice wear instead.
  • Check your gym or club rules. Many have their own sponsors already.
  • Keep this to adult teams. Never sell spots on youth athletes.

Questions

Can sponsor logos go on the competition uniform?

Usually not, or only very small. Warm ups, bags and videos are safer spots.

Is this for school cheer squads?

No. Only adult, college club and open teams.

Who receives the money?

The person who lists the spots. Agree as a team how it is used, such as travel or entry fees.

How do brands find my cheer team?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
