If you are putting on a concert, you control the poster, the stage and the tickets. Those are spots. Pin them on a photo of the venue, get your prices, and let local businesses and music brands ask to present your show.

How to monetize your concert

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your concert, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a concert auction.

Tips

  • Check the venue contract. Some venues sell their own sponsorship and ban outside brands.
  • The presented by spot needs to close before posters go out. Run that one first.
  • Ask the acts before selling spots that appear on stage with them.

Questions

Do I need the artist's permission?

For anything on stage or in the artist's name, yes. Poster and ticket spots usually only need yours as promoter.

What if the show is cancelled?

You only get paid after proof. If the show does not go on, there is no proof and no payment.

Which spot sells best?

The presented by line, since it travels with every poster and ticket.

How do brands find my concert?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
