- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a fence auction.
Get paid to put ads on your fence
Post a dated photo of each banner from across the street and one wide shot of the whole fence. Retake after wind or storms.
Tips
- Use mesh banners on chain link or wood fences. Solid vinyl catches wind and can bend posts.
- Check your sign ordinance. Some cities treat a big fence banner as a sign that needs a permit.
- Measure each panel and put the size in the spot note so sponsors can print the right banner.
Questions
Do I need a permit for a fence banner?
Maybe. Many cities regulate banners by size and time up. Check your local sign rules before you take bids.
Who pays for the banner?
Usually the sponsor prints it to your measurements. Say so in your listing so there is no confusion.
Can I list a shared fence?
Only with your neighbor's agreement, since they own half of it.
How do brands find my fence?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
