Advertise on my Ironman.

An Ironman takes most of a year to train for and most of a day to race. That is a lot of photos and content. Pin spots on your race kit, bike and training videos, get your prices, and let endurance brands come to you. Check the Ironman rules on logos first.

How to monetize your Ironman

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your Ironman, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a Ironman auction.

Get paid to put ads on your Ironman

Share official race photos, a photo of your bike in transition, and links to the training and finish posts.

Tips

  • Read the Ironman athlete guide and competition rules. They limit commercial logos on race kit and ban some ambush marketing.
  • Avoid brands that clash with the race's official partners if the rules say so.
  • Start the training series early. A sponsor who gets months of mentions cares less about one race day.

Questions

Can age group athletes wear sponsor logos at Ironman?

Usually yes, within size and placement limits. Pro athletes have their own rules. Read the current rules for your race.

What if I get injured before race day?

Agree on this with sponsors up front. You only get paid after proof, so if you do not race, talk to them about the training content you did deliver.

Can I raise money for charity too?

Yes, but keep it separate and follow the charity's rules. Tell sponsors clearly where their money goes.

How do brands find my Ironman?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
