How to monetize your balcony

  1. List it. Upload a photo of your balcony, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
  2. Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
  3. Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
  4. Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a balcony auction.

Tips

  • Read your lease or condo rules first. Many ban anything hung on balcony rails.
  • Use mesh and tie everything twice. A loose banner over a sidewalk is a safety problem.
  • If you face a parade route or stadium, list event dates in the spot note.

Questions

Can my building stop this?

Yes. Leases and condo bylaws often ban balcony signs and banners. Get permission in writing first.

Which floor works best?

Lower floors are easier to read. Higher floors need bigger, simpler designs.

Can I sell just one day?

Yes. Set a short sponsorship period for a game or parade day.

How do brands find my balcony?

List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.

Who sets the price?

Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.

When do I get paid?

The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.

Can brands bid against each other instead?

Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
