How to monetize your bar
- List it. Upload a photo of your bar, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a bar auction.
Get paid to put ads on your bar
Post dated photos of each spot during open hours, and a photo or clip from the sponsored night.
Tips
- Sponsors here should be non alcohol brands or local services. Alcohol ads are tightly regulated, so keep them out.
- A ride home sponsor is a good fit and helps guests get home safely.
- Check your liquor license terms, which may limit promotions in your bar.
Questions
Can beer or spirits brands bid?
No. This page is for non alcohol brands and local services.
What sells best?
Coasters and named nights tend to be easiest to sell because sponsors can see the exposure.
Can I sell the TV between games?
Yes. A slide at halftime or between rounds is simple to show as proof.
How do brands find my bar?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
