How to monetize your coffee cups
- List it. Upload a photo of your coffee cups, mark each spot and pick how you bill: per week, month, event or post. We set the price from reach, market and demand.
- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.
- Get paid. The brand pays when you accept. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up.
- Or run an auction. Share a link and let brands bid. Start a coffee cups auction.
Get paid to put ads on your coffee cups
Post a dated photo of a stack of sponsored sleeves at the counter and one cup in a customer's hand or on the counter.
Tips
- Print only on sleeves, stickers and outer packaging. Food contact surfaces need food safe materials.
- Say how long one batch lasts so the sponsor knows what they get.
- Stamps are cheaper than custom print runs and easier to swap after a takeover.
Questions
Can I print on the cup itself?
Only with food safe inks from a packaging supplier. Sleeves and stickers are simpler.
Who pays for printing?
Usually the sponsor. Agree on quantity and delivery date up front.
What if a takeover happens mid batch?
Switch at the next batch. Say this in your listing.
How do brands find my coffee cups?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
