How to monetize your mailbox

- Get requests. Brands find it in Browse and message you. Accept or decline.

Get paid to put ads on your mailbox
Post a dated photo of the post from the road with the house number visible. Retake it if the sign moves or fades.
Tips
- Do not put anything on or in the mailbox itself. USPS rules reserve it for mail, so use the post and the ground beside it.
- Keep signs low and clear of the mail carrier's reach so delivery is never blocked.
- Check HOA rules, which often set exact mailbox styles.
Questions
Can I stick a logo on the mailbox?
Avoid it. The box is for mail. Keep ads on the post, a hanging sign or a stake sign next to it.
Is the curb area mine?
Often the strip near the road is public right of way. Check your property line before placing a sign.
Why such low prices?
It is a small spot. Start low and let takeovers push the price up.
How do brands find my mailbox?
List it once. Brands browse spots by type, city and price and message you through SponsorMySpot. Your email stays private.
Who sets the price?
Our pricing engine, like a ride app. It prices each spot from what it is, how many people see it and the market you are in, and the price rises when brands are asking for that kind of spot near you. Owners pick how they bill: per week, month, event or post.
When do I get paid?
The brand pays when you accept their request. You are paid after you post proof that the logo is up. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. The fee is 8 percent.
Can brands bid against each other instead?
Yes. Run an auction: each spot opens at your start price and any brand can take it by paying double. Cards are held, not charged, until bidding closes.
